"My research team and I investigate the performance and emissions of engines, primarily for reducing the environmental impact of transportation. We work on conventional 4-stroke engines, but also investigate alternative types such as 2-strokes, Wankel engines, and advanced gas turbine concepts. The use of low- and net-zero-carbon fuels is also a very strong area for us."
