This project includes wave rotor design, simulations and testing. Laser diagnostics is used to map and optimize wave rotor flow properties. Wave rotors are pressure exchange devices, that can be used for optimizing gas turbines, refrigeration, supercharging, pressure gain combustion and pyrolysis.
